NetCloak, Maxum Development's popular Web server enhancement package for creating dynamic, interactive Web sites, is now part of iAssist! This is great news for existing NetCloak customers, as well as Web developers with new found interest in NetCloak.
For developers who have relied on NetCloak for years, the change means that NetCloak can now be deployed as a single, high-performance FastCGI implementation that is compatible with all popular Mac OS X-based Web server solutions available. In fact, since iAssist can be used to install and manage Apache 2, the new solution provides a solid solution for migrating Mac OS 8 and 9 Web servers to OS X.
Web developers who are just now discovering NetCloak's amazingly easy-to-use method of creating dynamic content can take advantage not only of NetCloak, but all other iAssist server functions. Building secure, easy to maintain Web servers has never been simpler... And the cost of iAssist, of which NetCloak is just one small but important component, is less than the cost of the old NetCloak package!
