PageSentry Variations (Packages)	Previous | Next Contents

To meet the needs of a variety of different network administrators, PageSentry is available in four different variations, or packages. These packages are distinguished by their capacity, rather than by features, since we believe that small Internet sites shouldn't have to compromise on capabilities. Packages range from the entry-level version for administrators with a single server, to our "ISP" package that is capable of monitoring an entire Internet server farm.

PageSentry OneSite

The most affordable PageSentry package, PageSentry OneSite can be configured with up to 5 Sentry tests and 5 Notifiers. This allows network administrators with a single server to test a server's primary services, a local router, and their Internet connection status.

PageSentry Professional

The Professional package is designed to handle the needs of businesses and schools that maintain their own Internet servers and full-time connections. This version supports up to 20 Sentries and 20 Notifiers, which is typically more than enough capacity to test multiple servers across fairly complex networks, which are maintained by one or several network administrators.

PageSentry Enterprise

Larger companies and universities, which may even span multiple geographic locations, are best served by PageSentry Enterprise. This version allows the creation of up to 100 Sentries and 100 Notifiers, and is capable of testing dozens of servers and services and managing warning notification for an entire team of dedicated network managers.

PageSentry ISP

PageSentry ISP is designed for Internet Service Providers that host hundreds of Web sites. With the ability to monitor up to 500 servers and create 500 distinct Notifiers, PageSentry ISP can be used to provide a premium level of support for hundreds of customers.
