Requirements

PageSentry runs under the Mac OS on the Apple Macintosh or any Macintosh clone. PageSentry has the following additional requirements:

• Mac OS 7.1 with Thread Manager installed, or Mac OS 7.5 or later.
• Open Transport 1.1 or later, or MacTCP 2.0.6 or later.
• 2.0 MB free application memory.
• 3 MB free hard drive space.

Your PageSentry package includes:

• The PageSentry application
• The ProcWatch application
• READ ME! document
• This guide in HTML format
• Example AppleScripts
• Free PageSentry upgrades for one year

Recommendations

We strongly recommend that you run PageSentry on a computer other than an Internet or intranet server that you are monitoring. Should a server that is also running PageSentry crash, PageSentry may not mbe able to notify you, depending on the type of failure.

While PageSentry will function normally given the requirements listed above, for peak performance and reliability, we recommend running PageSentry with Mac OS 8.1 or later, Open Transport 2.0 or later, and at least 3 MB available RAM.
