Future Services
Maxum has been developing and supporting Internet server software longer than just about anyone (since 1994!). In that time, our product line has expanded and each of our products has evolved dramatically. Most of this evolution has been with the input of our active user community. In fact, the process of listening to our users and releasing software updates to meet their needs was the genesis of iAssist.
So, we can't tell you exactly where iAssist is headed, because it will depend on how Internet services, and the needs of iAssist customers, evolve. To take part in this ongoing discussion, we strongly encourage you to join the iAssist mailing list by sending an e-mail to "listrequests@maxum.com" with a message body of "join iAssist-Talk".
We do have a few ideas, however, about what Internet services aren't properly covered in the Mac OS X server space. Services and utilities that we are strongly considering addressing include:
