Price & Order About Download Technical Support Version 11
Rumpus Version 11
Version 11 is the latest release of Rumpus and supports all major file transfer protocols, including FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTP, HTTPS and WebDAV. Rumpus 11 includes an updated foundation based on modern OpenSSL and LibSSH libraries, a stylized Upload Center forms appearance, and various bug and minor feature updates. Because Rumpus 10 and earlier versions use outdated foundational technologies, older versions of Rumpus are no longer supported and all Rumpus users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to Rumpus 11, especially when secure protocols (HTTPS, FTPS, SFTP) are in use.
Upgrading & Licensing

With the release of Rumpus 10, Maxum switched to a software subscription model that provides all users with reliable support and access to all software updates. All Rumpus subscribers are entitled to upgrade to Rumpus 11 at no additional cost. Rumpus 10 & 11 Update Overview

Modernized Foundation
Rumpus 11 is now built upon modern SSL and SSH libraries (including OpenSSL 3.4 and recent LibSSH releases). These changes implement the latest security ciphers and technologies for improved security and client compatibility. This is a major update, and is essential for all Rumpus administrators who rely on HTTPS, FTPS and SFTP for secure file transfers.

New Control Application
The Rumpus 10/11 control application has been updated visually, reorganized, and expanded. The application sports an improved appearance, important controls have been made more accessible, and error checking and problem reporting have been expanded. SFTP, in particular, is now configured on a dedicated control window for improved security and configuration.

Modernized Web Appearance
The Web File Manager now supports high-resolution images, improving the appearance on both hand-held devices and modern desktop computer displays. New options allow administrators to streamline the interface (especially for power users), strengthen security, and automate password resets. New graphic options for the actions menu better integrate with customized color palettes, as well as appearing sharper and more modern.

Improved Security
Security protocols and practices continue to evolve, and Rumpus 10/11 continues the focus on keeping your server secure. All underlying cryptographic libraries have been updated to the latest, most robust versions. New security-related HTTP features keep the Rumpus Web service up to date with current specifications, and a new Web-based user password reset function has been added for better automated password management.

Elevated SFTP Service
The SFTP engine has been updated to better handle spambots and improve performance across the board, allow for 2 factor authentication, and give administrators better control over the SFTP service.
